I’m just going to admit it. I love this blog, but I’ve ignored it in the recent months. Not because my kids suddenly got ugly (though I’ve got to figure out a game plan for Liam’s hair – good to have that much hair as an old guy, but as a three-year-old, it’s overwhelming) – but because life got too busy, and something had to take a back seat. And doesn’t “this blog” have the same number of letters as “back seat”?
Here are some pictures of the boys and us since the last post:
We took the boys to Skinny Bones, a pumpkin patch between Omaha and Blair, on Halloween – followed by hot dogs at Costco (aren’t those the best?!) and then trick-or-treating as Max from “Where the Wild Things Are” and a cuddly shark. Good times!
Our boys birthdays’ are only two days apart, which makes for a busy week – especially since they also share their birthday week with the 4th of July! Logan turned the big one on July 1, and Liam celebrated his 3rd birthday on July 3.
We had so much fun last week partying with our two little ones. We had a 1st Birthday Party at my parents’ pool last Saturday for Logan’s birthday – very fun, but very hot weather – if you weren’t in the pool, you were melting. And then on Tuesday, July 3, we went to the zoo for Liam’s 3rd birthday – also very hot weather, but we had fun anyway!

Goodness, I can’t believe my baby turns one in just one month from today! This year has really flown by – too fast, in my opinion!
We kicked off the unofficial start of summer last weekend with Memorial Day parties in Omaha and Unadilla – and this morning, I took the boys to the zoo – Logan’s first time! We’re really enjoying this gorgeous weather and all of the time spent outdoors. Here’s to summer!
Mr. Logan hit the ripe old age of 10 months yesterday – I can’t believe I already need to start planning his 1st birthday party! It will be here before we know it. I only got one good shot of him for this month’s age sign photo shoot – he’s just too quick for me these days!
